Seven companies from the telecommunications, consumer goods and automotive sectors were chosen. Winner will be announced on 12/08
NTT DATA, an IT service provider and market-leading global innovation partner, announces the seven finalists in the 12th edition of its Open Innovation Contest (or Open Innovation Contest), an award aimed at startups from all over Brazil who develop technologies aimed at making the world a better place. They are: ColorKrew, Cinnecta, Data Rudder, Embeddo, Lume Robotics, PowerOfData and Talent Academy.
Made in partnership with the Brazilian Association of Startups, JETRO São Paulo, Cubo, Microsoft for Startups and Sebrae, companies whose solutions were aimed at the telecommunications, consumer goods and automotive sectors were able to enroll in this year's edition. Additionally, two challenges were imposed, driven by space computing and blockchain technologies.
The winner will be announced on December 8th, at 9 am, in a ceremony that may be accompanied by this link.

colorkrew – Operating on four fronts, Cloud Management, Application and Web Development, Authentication and Means of Payment and Promotion Marketing, the company created three corporate tools (Goalous, Mamoru Biz and Mamoru PUSH) designed to enhance customer communication and improve manage the company's objectives, always in compliance with data protection and information security standards.
Cinnecta – A technology and data intelligence company specializing in understanding, segmenting and predicting customer behavior that developed solutions to lead organizations to understand the customer's daily journey and create assertive planning based on data. Its mission is to facilitate customer decision making through data intelligence, in a Data-to-Insights approach.
Rudder Date – Created a solution based on Artificial Intelligence to bring machine learning technologies to clients of different sizes and segments. Company focused on guiding customers in strategic decision-making based on data.
embeddo – Developed technologies and solutions based on the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Applied Computing, Embedded Intelligent Systems and Artificial Intelligence. With an emphasis on connectivity, it seeks to help customers and partners overcome the challenges associated with digital transformation.
Fire Robotics – Technology-based company, with a team of over 10 years of experience in research and development of autonomous vehicles. It accumulates luggage from the production of the first autonomous car in Brazil (e.coTech 4 by Hitech Electric), in addition to being involved in the first autonomous taxiing of an aircraft in the world. Currently, it operates in the automation of vehicles for transporting industrial materials.
PowerOfData – Business solutions company, which uses technology to monetize data and analytics, transforming them into concrete results in a fast, friendly and scalable way for customers. It does this by automating and accelerating the entire process of the data chain in favor of the strategy of companies and people, understanding that being agile and data driven is crucial to achieving success in an increasingly global market undergoing digital transformation.
Talent Academy – Offers an innovative platform of digital solutions for people management, based on analysis of corporate culture and strategies. It uses technology and data analysis to know the profiles of employees, promoting a connection between the company's purpose and the purpose of its members.
In the 2020 edition, two Brazilian startups (Tin Din and Green Ant) managed to dispute the final in Japan, making the country the only one in the world to achieve such a feat. “For 2021, the base remains the same: an event that supports business innovation and the possibility of acting for the entire range of NTT DATA customers, says Roberto Celestino, head of innovation at the company. The idea is that in the end everyone involved wins: NTT DATA, the award winner and its future customers.
