Dynatrace, which operates in Software Intelligence, announced the acquisition of SpectX, a company specializing in query analytics and high-speed analysis. This acquisition will accelerate the convergence of observability and security for modern hybrid and Multicloud environments, which demand continual change and broad observability to handle an exponentially expanding volume of data that must be analyzed in context and in real time to enable autonomous operations and safe. With the acquisition of SpectX, Dynatrace will further advance the application security observation and analysis capability of its 26 Platform.

According to the projections of the statist, 79 zettabytes of data – or 79 trillion gigabytes – will be created by 2021. That's double the amount of data produced just two years ago, and growth at this rate is expected to continue for the foreseeable future. To analyze this data in real time and ensure the performance and security of Clouds and the applications that run on them, the combination of high speed, Artificial Intelligence (AI) based analytics and advanced automation is an absolute requirement – especially for the largest world groups and leading market organizations.
