Arcserve, data protection and ransomware provider, and Fujitsu, a Japanese company that is a reference in information and communication technology (ICT), are bringing the successful global partnership between the brands to the Brazilian market.

In view of the growth projection of the IT market carried out by the IDC consultancy of 11.1%, the partnership tends to generate new opportunities for both companies, especially considering that the level of IT maturity is still low and many companies need to invest in infrastructure of reliable storage to face the new cyber threats, which are increasingly common in Brazil.

Through this partnership, Brazilian companies gain important support for their business continuity plans. “In Japan, this partnership is very strong and we are certain that by working together in Brazil, we will be able to realize numerous business opportunities, greatly benefiting the country's business ecosystem”, comments Daniela Costa, VP of Latin America and the Caribbean at Arcserve.

For Alex Takaoka, Sales Director at Fujitsu Brazil, the partnership will boost the reach in the region and reach of both companies' solutions to help organizations innovate and solve the most complex IT challenges. “There is an important synergy between Arcserve and Fujitsu and the expectation is, in addition to exploring commercial opportunities, to improve the learning possibilities of the two organizations with a strategy focused on leveraging clients' Digital Transformation projects.

As data protection becomes indispensable to corporate compliance and business continuity, the ability to seamlessly back up and restore large numbers of VMs aggregated across a global infrastructure has become a concern for business customers. Data centers absorb more and more amounts of data and that is why it is essential to protect the entire system so that it runs smoothly, not interfering with business operations and providing a reliable backup, capable of enabling recovery in a short period of time in the case of a stop, whether scheduled or not.

The task of storing and managing data securely in an environment where threats multiply exponentially through criminal actions that become more sophisticated every day is increasingly fraught with challenges. In addition to the problems generated by data theft and the collection of ransoms for the restoration of systems, today companies are also faced with the need for a complete adaptation to the LGPD's regulations. Deadlines for making specific sets of data available over time create additional problems for organizations that need solutions that are both comprehensive and simple to use and implement, something that only leading companies like Fujitsu and Arcserve can offer.
