Among the main features of the solution are:
- the basis on intention – Automatically translates both technical and business intent into application delivery as well as security policies and settings. Administrators can, for example, set a maximum acceptable application latency limit for a zone, and servers and systems will adjust to keep application delivery within parameters.
- Self-correction and continuous optimization – Automatically detects and fixes application delivery issues such as performance degradation, new demands and outages. When a slow server is discovered, it can be automatically removed from the load balancing pool.
- Internet-State Aware – Collects and analyzes 10 billion data points per day from more than one billion users across 50,000 networks in 200 countries to provide real-time visibility into the state of the Internet through Citrix Intelligent Traffic Management™. Armed with this data, IT is able to optimize the application experience for individual users and prescribe the best locations for additional hosting sites if traffic increases to maintain service levels.
