The objective of CLM Cloud Services is to allow companies to quickly adapt technically to the requirements of the LGPD
Companies are having to adapt very quickly to the LGPD, technically equipping themselves to protect their customers' data, with encryption, anonymization and pseudo-anonymization.
Many do not have an investment budget. To facilitate technical adaptation, CLM and Thales have teamed up to offer these services, in the cloud, with monthly payments.
CLM Cloud Services will follow the expansion of demand, making available in the cloud (SaaS), other solutions of the manufacturers that the distributor represents. In this business model, CLM shares part of the infrastructure, bringing the benefits of the cloud to partner reseller projects, transforming CAPEX (capital expenditure) into OPEX (operational expenditure).

Alisson Santos
CLM's product manager, Alisson Santos, explains that this is the business model best suited to the cash flow of Brazilian companies at this time of pandemic, allowing them to continue their digital transformation in an accelerated manner.
“The distribution market, with the advent of SaaS and the Cloud, is undergoing major consolidation, with companies preparing for the future. “In this scenario, the distributor has a great role in this preparation, being the link between the manufacturer and the resellers for the transfer of knowledge necessary to expand the business. In addition to making the projects financially viable, supporting partners through financial conditions and adequate business model to meet the demands.”
CLM Cloud Services
CLM Cloud Services allows channels to increase their sales, improving customer loyalty and having the guarantee of monthly receipts, since they are commissioned on all sales.
The idea is to accelerate the digital transformation of companies, with the best possible cash flow, eliminating initial disbursements.
The format also takes away from companies, channel customers, the costs of implementing, maintaining and supporting technologies, significantly reducing the financial and professional resources spent on these activities. And it speeds up the process a lot, mainly by dispensing with integrations with the companies' existing technologies.
Santos comments that the model is a competitive advantage for organizations, being more suited to the companies' cash flow and the lack of technical resources, which are difficult at this time of great digital transformation in Brazil.
The initiative follows the strong trend of migration to the cloud. According to the study "Brazilian Software Market - Panorama and Trends 2020", carried out by ABES - Brazilian Association of Software Companies - with IDC data, the Cloud will also be the key element in IT infrastructure in 2022, as it's a fast track to building operational resilience.
Adding spending on infrastructure (IaaS) and platform (PaaS) in the public cloud, Brazil should reach US$ 3 billion in investment, which represents an increase of 46.5% in relation to the previous year.
And the private cloud service (DCaaS) is also expected to grow and reach the milestone of US$ 614 million, an advance of 15.5% compared to last year.
