The pandemic accelerated many changes that were already taking place in society, one of them being the realization of the need for a strong Brazilian IT market. After all, the information technology area is essential for companies to maintain their competitiveness and operation. The impact caused by the virus increased the need for systems improvement, task automation, data security, digital knowledge, Internet of Things, among other transformations.
In a dynamic and unstable environment, the 2021 edition of ABES CONFERENCE, organized in partnership with The Shift portal, has as its central motto “EXPONENTIAL WAVES AND DIGITAL RESILIENCE” and is bringing together important experts from the innovation ecosystem, startups, tax reform, human resources and digital transformation in a free digital 100% event on the 14th , September 15-16, 2021. The event has platinum sponsorship from Oracle and master sponsorship from Amazon Web Services (AWS), IBM, Sky.One Solutions and TOTVS.
Each day of the event will explore a different sub-theme. On the 14th, guests focused on digital resilience. In the second, the presentations will focus on the business environment, while the programming of the third will address the human factor.
“The thematic guideline of this edition could not be more opportune. The pandemic demonstrated how much we need to be prepared to face unpredictable weather. We were hit by a real tsunami. Falling and returning became part of the game. This is resilience,” commented Rodolfo Fücher, president of the association, at the opening of the event. He took the opportunity to talk about initiatives that the entity has been developing, such as the ReciTech Program, the ABES Intership Program and the creation of committees and work groups, in order to debate the needs and innovations in different areas.
In the exhibition area, ABES installed four virtual booths to receive participants, each one on a subject: ABES – Institutional; An Ethical Company and LGPD Diagnosis Program; ReciTech and Mobilization Program for Reducing Inequality; and Caesbra Benefits, in which visitors were welcomed by the association's staff.
