Operating in an area with a predominance of men, BRQ Digital Solutions has set itself the goal of further diversifying its internal audience. To this end, it is recruiting 40 women for its online 100% Training Program exclusively for women.
“We believe that a woman's place is in technology and wherever she wants, that's why we decided to invest in a Training Program just for women. This is because the recruiter does not have access to any personal information about the candidate, in order to reduce unconscious biases towards appearance and to give greater weight to the candidate's abilities”, explains Carolina Piombo, CPO of BRQ Digital Solutions.
According to the latest study by Brasscom, in Brazil, only 23.9% of employees in technical information technology functions are female. Within this unequal reality, the BRQ Digital Solution s managed, for the first time, to have a more balanced number between men and women interns in the last program and decided, this time, to invest in a class just for them.
“Our intention is to train these professionals and promote female empowerment in the labor market and in society. After all, the technology sector is one of the fastest growing in Brazil and in the world and offers a salary three times higher than the national average”, says BRQ CEO Benjamin Quadros.
The program includes a learning path with technical training in Java, mentoring, development of behavioral skills and feedback. To participate in the selection process, you must be attending or be trained in technology-related courses and be available to participate in remote classes. The training will take place in September 2021, from Monday to Friday, from 2 pm to 6 pm.
