Blockbit, a global cybersecurity products company, announces Cleber Ribas as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Since 2016 at the company, the executive assumes the position with the goal of further increasing the organization's presence in the market.
“I am very happy and excited about this step within Blockbit, a company in which I am proud to be a part of since the beginning and which has been growing in a very solid way”, says Ribas. "The goal is to strengthen our go-to-market and alliances strategies, identifying the best opportunities for the expansion of our company."
Specialized in Information Security and graduated in administration, the new CEO has solid experience in sales and business management. For five years, he has been responsible for the commercial and alliance operations of Blockbit. Before joining the company, the executive joined companies such as Terra Networks, Brasil Telecom and Aker Security. Highlight, also, for the trajectory of leadership and team management, having worked directly on projects in Brazil and in several Latin American countries.
According to Ribas, his experience and proximity to Blockbit's ecosystem of partners and customers will be especially important to support the expansion and innovation work of the services offered by the company to its customers. “Cybersecurity is a central theme in the organizations' strategy, and it is our objective to offer solutions that our customers can truly trust, with the maximum possible protection”, he says.
The executive adds that, for this, the company should expand its efforts in search of partnerships and business models that expand Blockbit's presence in the global scenario. “We are continually mapping the market to identify local needs and the best paths that can help us consolidate the expansion of our coverage and customer service”, he says.
