Softex announced the launch of the international actions scheduled by the entity for 2021 within the scope of the Brasil IT + Sectorial Project, developed in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil).
#UnboxingInternational initiatives aim to provide startups and technology companies with the opportunity to access international investments, with the consequent generation of sales and business for new markets.
Considered the largest and most comprehensive plan for competitive internationalization of software developers and IT service providers ever carried out in the country, the Sectorial Project Brazil IT + counted in 2019 with the participation of 191 companies, responsible for generating US$ 681 million in exports, equivalent to 32% of the total exported by the sector.
Since its inception in 2005, the Sectorial Project Brazil IT + has collaborated so that the export volume of the participating companies was increased tenfold. It also contributed to the generation of specialized jobs, adding value to the national export basket.
Among the actions to support the presence of Brazilian IT companies abroad scheduled by Softex for this year are training, mentoring in international business plans, value proposition, individual and exclusive consultancy with Gartner Group analysts, as well as access to an acceleration program for international markets.
“Over the years, we have built an important network of contacts, an image of credibility and professionalism, making it clear to the global industry that our companies are committed to expanding their presence abroad and that this is a strategy supported by government policies” , highlights Ana Pires, manager of the international area of Softex.
For 2021, six events are already confirmed in the entity's grid: Midsize Enterprise Summit Spring, CIO Summit, MWC - Mobile Word Congress, Xchange Americas, Midsize Enterprise Fall and Global Connection.
