CPQD is launching the Radar Connect to the New 2020, a document that brings a comprehensive analysis, focusing on the Brazilian reality, on the maturity, the potential for impact and the prospect of adopting 28 technologies selected as relevant in the current and future scenarios from the country.
Produced from a careful research work with executives and specialists from different economic sectors, the Radar Connect to the New has the proposal to become a representative and updated reference source for the adoption of new technologies, which should benefit all the Brazilian innovation ecosystem. "This Radar is our contribution to support organizations in the face of the challenges of planning and adopting new technologies", says organization president Sebastião Sahão Júnior.
The public invited to participate in the survey represents the vision of seven sectors: Information Technology, Telecommunications, Industry, Agribusiness, Energy and Utilities, Government and Finance. The answers were consolidated in analyzes of each of the 28 technologies of the study, grouped in six areas: Network and Connectivity; Artificial intelligence; Trust, Privacy and Security; Advanced Computing; Mobility and Autonomous Vehicles, and IoT and Smart Devices.
“Within a group of more than 40 technologies, we selected 28 with the potential to impact Brazilian companies in the coming years,” explains Paulo Curado, director of Innovation at CPQD. For each of them, the study participants were asked to evaluate three items: technology maturity, expected technological impact and adoption period.
The survey included a sample of more than 250 participants. Curado highlights the profile of executives among the participants (76% of the total) and the predominance of specialists working in the areas of innovation and technology (60%). “The form of presentation of the results, using a format developed by CPQD, allows the quick visualization of the consolidated data, facilitating the interpretation of the vision about each technology and market segment”, adds the director.
