The initiative seeks to strengthen digital inclusion and expand economic opportunities for women in Latin America by offering access to training in key areas such as artificial intelligence, digital literacy, cybersecurity, and data-driven decision making.
Through this collaboration, the For Women will adapt program content IBM SkillsBuild, a global free digital education initiative from IBM that offers free access to technology training and professional development, incorporating a gender perspective and an accessibility focus to address the realities and challenges faced by women in the region.
The proposal will be integrated into Emprende Pro Mujer, a digital training platform, through the creation of a specialized academy — a learning space that combines asynchronous content, practical tools, and meetings with experts to support the development of essential skills for business growth.

In this context, IBM SkillsBuild It will offer modules on the use of artificial intelligence, digital mindset, security and digital citizenship, the use of artificial intelligence and data analysis for decision-making — fundamental tools for strengthening the competitiveness and sustainability of women-led ventures.
In addition, the program will include live sessions focused on topics such as digital transformation for business, digital security, generative artificial intelligence, and AI-powered marketing, offering participants practical tools to apply to their projects and businesses.
The project is aligned with the global commitment of IBM aims to train at least 30,000 people by 2030, including 2 million in artificial intelligence by 2026., with an initial focus on Mexico and Colombia and a long-term vision aimed at expanding digital inclusion throughout Latin America.
