Boris Kuszka participates in a lecture about the impact of the open source ecosystem on the education and future careers of technology students.

The Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo is hosting, as part of the celebrations for the 40th anniversary of its Computer Science course, the lecture “Beyond the Diploma: How the Open Source Ecosystem Accelerates Your Career”, with Boris Kuszka, Technology Director for the Enterprise segment in Brazil at Red Hat.

The meeting aims to reflect on how open source has become one of the main drivers of technological innovation and professional development in today's market. With nearly three decades of experience in information technology, Boris Kuszka built his career in the field of Open Systems, working for global companies such as IBM, Sun Microsystems, Nokia, Oracle, HP, and NetApp. His career is marked by his work on digital transformation projects and the promotion of open technologies as a basis for corporate innovation.

The lecture is part of a special program celebrating four decades of the Computer Science course at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo, highlighting the connection between academia and the market, and reinforcing the role of universities in training talent aligned with the demands of digital transformation.
