
The Innovative Women Program is an initiative of Finep and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI) to stimulate startups led by women, in order to contribute to increasing female representation in the national entrepreneurial landscape, through training and recognition of ventures that can favor the increase of Brazilian competitiveness.
In this edition, 10 startups from each region of the country will be selected, 5 in the validation stage and 5 in more advanced stages of traction and scaling, totaling 50 companies, for 8.5 weeks of acceleration with a team of mentors and speakers from public and private initiatives. At the end, all will present to a Regional Evaluation Panel. Those that complete the entire process satisfactorily will receive a prize of R$ 60,000 to use in their business, but two from each region, one from each stage, will be chosen by the Panel to receive a differentiated prize of R$ 120,000.
