Roberto Gero, product director of the Advanced Solutions Unit at Ingram Micro Brazil, reports that the initiative stems from the company's strategy to strengthen its offering of solutions focused on digitalization, automation, and intelligent use of data. “Ingram Micro has been consistently expanding its presence in IoT. The partnership with Genetec reinforces this movement by adding solutions that connect devices, sensors, and systems in real time, allowing for a more centralized view of customer operations. Through this agreement, Ingram Micro will distribute Genetec's main video management and access control platforms in Brazil. These solutions enable the evolution towards a unified physical security model, in which different systems operate in an integrated way within a single architecture, increasing process efficiency and enabling more strategic decision-making.
According to Gero, the work will be directed towards various sectors of the economy, such as industry, agribusiness, logistics, retail, healthcare, utilities, and smart cities. For channels and resellers, the partnership increases the possibilities of building complete market offerings.
