In just two weeks of operation, the app surpassed the mark of... 100,000 downloads, indicating rapid adoption and high public demand.
Developed over 7 months with support from BRQ, the app was designed to simplify the investor experience when monitoring their asset portfolio. “We received over 50,000 feedback requests, many of which asked for the creation of an investment app,” says Vinícius Brancher, Superintendent of Individual Investor Business at B3. According to the executive, the app “allows access to information about statements, dividends, and investment performance in one place, even if the investor allocates their resources across more than one brokerage firm.”.
The platform was developed with a structure for push notifications, messages sent directly from the app to the user's mobile phone, even when they are not using the app. This measure contributed to reducing operational costs and increasing user engagement.
“In just a few months, together we created a secure and scalable solution, using AI to accelerate development and generate real value for the investor. More than just an app, we built a platform prepared to continuously evolve alongside B3's strategic objectives,” explains Rodrigo Frizzi, CEO of BRQ.
Agile development with AI and a centralized experience.
B3 conducted detailed studies to design the application, ensuring that it met investors' needs and provided a centralized and efficient experience. "Before moving on to the code, we validated 12 proof-of-concept tests. This ensured a solution that better aligned with the end customer's expectations," says Brancher.
Ricardo Lecheta, CTO Mobile at BRQ, explains that the Fusion UI artificial intelligence tool, developed by BRQ itself, was used in the app, enabling "up to 5 times acceleration in the creation of the component library, ensuring consistent standards and including accessibility from the start.".
The platform was developed in Flutter, a technology that allows you to create native mobile applications for Android and iOS from a single codebase, ensuring efficient performance and integration.
Furthermore, the app was born 100% in the cloud, with advanced security features such as biometric authentication and facial recognition. “As this is a financial market platform, customer security is a priority. Therefore, we have implemented multiple layers of protection focused on detecting and preventing vulnerabilities,” explains Lecheta.
The app incorporates accessibility concepts, ensuring intuitive navigation for all user profiles. It was also designed with process automation, allowing for quick and reliable updates without compromising the user experience.
The launch marks an important step in B3's strategy to get closer to individual investors, offering a digital platform that combines experience, security and efficiency, consolidating the company as a benchmark in innovative solutions in the financial market.
In later stages, the app will gain new features, such as the profitability of the investor's portfolio, information about the companies invested in, remote voting, and investment portability, further expanding its usefulness.
