O Gartner, Inc., A company providing advice and insights on business and technology., announces Cesar Velloso as Executive Vice President for Latin America, expanding his responsibility to 10 other countries in addition to Brazil: Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Panama, Uruguay, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.
With a career spanning nearly two decades at Gartner and a track record of very consistent growth leading operations in Brazil, where he most recently served as Country Manager, Velloso begins this new phase with a commitment to expanding the reach, relevance, and impact of technology and AI on a regional scale, increasing the competitiveness of Latin American private sector companies and strengthening the capacity of governments to enable public policies and offer more efficient, digital, and intelligent services to citizens.
In his new position, Velloso will be responsible for all operations focused on organizations that purchase technology – both public and private sectors (large, medium, and small companies) – as well as the ecosystem of "High Tech" companies that develop and supply technological solutions.
Their focus will be on expanding the successful model developed in Brazil, as well as Gartner's impact throughout the region, helping organizations transform their technology investments into concrete financial and operational results aligned with their strategic priorities.

Cesar Velloso joined Gartner in 2007 and built a career marked by consistent growth and a strong results orientation. Throughout his career, he also held positions such as Director of Business Development, Regional Sales Director, Area Vice President, and Regional Sales Vice President at Gartner.
He developed a team of specialized and high-performing leaders and executives, expanding Gartner's presence to different regions of Brazil, building a solid and loyal client base in the public and private sectors, across various industries. Velloso holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Federal Fluminense University (UFF) and an MBA in Business Management from IBMEC.
